Cambodia Village 15/16 School News
March/April 2018
If you believe in the power of education, we can together give these kids a chance.
Here is a group of  students from KidsNeedEducation.org - Cambodia proudly showing off their new uniforms.  The money for these uniforms was donated by local expats David Fruitman from Canada and Mark Madigan from Australia. In many cases, this may be one of the few sets of clothing that these kids own.  Like any little kids, they are so happy to have new clothes showing they are going to school.  Thank you so much Dave and Mark for your generosity and making a difference in these kids lives.
Aprati Foods (Cambodia) Ltd., is a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Licorice Company in the United States and a generous benefactor of our Village 15 school.  Recently our President, Rick Meyer wrote a testimonial about Aprati Foods and their commitment to society as a company.  Or what is referred to as "Corporate Social Responsibility "

We wanted to share this testimonial with you.  It has deep meaning and is a testament to what an amazing company that Aprati Foods and American Licorice Company are.

"Aprati Foods' sense of responsibility towards Cambodian Society is exemplified by the company's focus on the education of impoverished Cambodian children in Village 15 of the Toul Kork District in Phnom Penh. By partnering with Aogaah Foundation, Aprati Foods is making it possible to deliver a program which is tailored to the needs of the community. This philosophy of investing in the future of the Cambodian people has had a significant impact on the lives of many. The children, who otherwise would not get the opportunity to go to school, learn to read, write and perform calculations. These skills make a profound difference later in the lives of these children when they enter the job market. In turn, a higher skilled labor force boosts the overall economic outlook for the entire country. The return on Aprati Foods' investment in Cambodian Society is substantial for both individual and country. The company's Social Responsibility Philosophy sets a high standard for all companies doing business in Cambodia"

From all of us at Aogaah Foundation, KidsNeedEducation.org - Cambodia and from all of the hundreds of children you have helped...Aprati Foods and American Licorice Company - Thank you!
Recently Michael Wright, Sandy Kotan and William T. Monroe of the Rotary Club Cambodia - Phnom Penh visited us and donated a bookshelf and books for the kids to use in their education. Thank you Rotary Club Cambodia for your generosity and thank you Michael, Sandy and William for your visit and spending time with the kids.
Our many thanks To "Good Karma Singapore" for all of their gifts for the children.  Good Karma is an NGO liaising with sponsors to facilitate distribution of goods-in-kind to underprivileged kids in developing countries from indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia to Vietnam and to low-income families in rented flats in Singapore.
We are blessed with a lot of expats living nearby who help us.  For this we are forever thankful for the difference that you are making in the lives of these kids.

Donations are the lifeblood of our little school.  100% of all our received donations are used for the education of the children.  There is no paid administration or executive offices.  The only paid members of our foundation and school are the teachers...everyone else in our organization are volunteers.

We hope this spring season you consider a donation to Aogaah Foundation and help us continue our efforts to provide education to these poor, impoverished children.

Now PayPal is making it even easier for our donors to sign up for monthly giving with streamlined recurring payments option.  This is an option that you will be allowed to make when you click on our Donate button.  You do not need a Paypal account to donate and Paypal accepts credit cards.
