Hi All!
What a busy April... read on to see what I've been up to. Are there workshops in May/June that people want us to run? I have a Django one nearly ready to go. Or if you are interested in Elm, I know someone who can teach that also. Do let us know. 😊
We are also delighted to be involved with The Women in Tech Meetups Summit hosted by Workday. A great way to meet other folks from other women in tech groups, so hope to see you there! It's free and it's on Tue May 15. Details >>>

In April, Coding Grace partnered with ReFig:Network in Play to run three Diversity in Games Workshop in Galway, and they went really well. Takeaways was write often (especially first thing in the morning) when it comes to creative writing, play at least one board game (that's not monopoly or scrabble) and try making a game based on it. The team will have the research up on https://gamedevelopers.ie/diversity when feedback and surveys are analysed. I'll share in next newsletter.
I mentioned last month that I was accepting into Picademy programme. So I am officially a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator. If I were to run a Raspberry Pi event during summertime, would people be interested? Let me know - contact@codinggrace.com

Last month I was involved in Repeal Jam, a creative event in support of the campaign to repeal the 8th amendment. We raised €170 at the Dublin event. You can find more info about the event, we are still accepting submissions. Details via https://repealjam.github.io.
Was at Dublin Tech Summit, great to bump into familiar faces and meeting new ones. And so much for my "no videos" rule, but I said something short and hopefully it will benefit whoever watches it. Click on link to watch it. 😊
