They say April showers bring May flowers. Here in Western NY, we've been trying to figure out what April snow flurries bring, and hoping Mother Nature gets back on track in a hurry!
Check out my 4/4/18 interview on WNY Tonight with Tammie Lee Demler. We cover all kinds of interesting organizing topics!
Ask the Organizer!

Q: I'm too stressed/busy/tired to get organized!

A: Or, are you too stressed/busy/tired BECAUSE you're not organized?

Being organized will save you time in the long run. You can find what you want when you want it: the car keys, your cell phone, that Rx to fill, the bill you need to pay before incurring a $35 late fee... instead of wasting precious time looking for those things. Streamlining systems and creating homes for things makes a busy life run more smoothly.

Clutter raises our cortisol level (that's our stress hormone) and if you're honest, you'll realize that living with excess clutter is what's stressing you out, not the idea of finding a home for all that "stuff." Trust me on this.

My father-in-law used to quote Elbert Hubbard, saying, "Don't make excuses, make good."  If the idea of getting organized overwhelms you, call on the services of professional. It's what we do, and we'd love to help.

Submit your questions to me via email: jamie@homesolutionswny.com with "Ask the Organizer" in the subject line. I'll choose one reader's question to feature in each newsletter.

Saturday, April 28th is National Drug Take Back Day. Click the image to find a location near you and do the right thing with those expired or no-longer-needed medications. Offer to do it for someone who can't do it for themselves. I go to Millard Suburban Hospital every year to drop off meds for clients, and the process is smooth as silk.

I'll be one of the presenters at an upcoming Health and Wellness Conference for the Department of Social Services, as well as at UB's internal "Stress Less" wellness event.  If you need a speaker for your organization's event, Home Solutions can help!
