Endorsements for the June Election
|
|
On behalf of the MGO Executive Board, I would like to thank all the candidates, campaign representatives, MGO members, and community members who attended our informational and endorsement meetings for the June election over the last few weeks.
I would also like to thank Judy Cox, Annie Flores, Gary Sirbu, Steve Statler, and Jim Mordecai for their help in organizing and setting up the meetings.
In particular, many races featured exceptional candidates with impressive credentials and records of service, so I regret that MGO can only endorse one candidate per position. To earn our endorsement, each candidate or measure must receive at least 60% of the votes cast for that position or measure.
MGO is pleased to congratulate the following candidates and ballot measures on earning our endorsement. If a particular race is not decided in the June election and MGO's endorsed candidate advances to the November election, MGO's endorsement will carry over to the November election.
