A great piece of news to conclude 2017/18
In November we published our report ‘Making the most of your pharmacy’. We’re delighted to say that our findings have fed in to the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for Bucks. This is a document that defines the current and future pharmaceutical needs of the local population. This is assessed every three years.

This is your chance to make it happen.The way Bucks health care services are assessed is about to change. You have until Monday 30 April to give your views to Bucks Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that decides what healthcare services are needed in Bucks.

Free blood pressure check up
Bucks Stroke Support is a county-wide service provided by the Stroke Association and Bucks Healthcare Trust. As well as offering practical advice and emotional support, Bucks Stroke Support is also providing a free blood pressure checking service for residents in April and May. Personal health budget holder? Have your say now!
If you receive a personal health budget or integrated personal budget (combining health and social care funding) you’re invited to share your experience of the care and support you receive in a survey by NHS England. You have until Monday 30 April, so register your interest now. Survey responses will be used to help improve how personal health budgets are offered in England.

Experience of Care Week (23 - 27 April) celebrates the work that is happening across health and social care to improve experiences of care for patients, families, carers and staff. We’ll be announcing the release of our Dignity in Care Annual Report 2017/18. This report summarises our findings from the visits we made to review 24 care care homes across Bucks last year.
