Making the Invincibles - What's Your Story Chorley? Literature Festival

This Saturday 28th April, I will be at the Ebb & Flo Bookshop on Gillibrand Street in Chorley, Lancashire, presenting my illustrated talk about the story behind Preston North End - The Rise of the Invincibles.

The talk begins at 12pm, and is part of the What's Your Story Chorley? Literature Festival. There's a wide range of events happening all day and more details about the festival may be found here: http://checkoutchorley.com/whatsyourstory/

About the talk:

Making the Invincibles covers what inspired me to write the graphic novel; why I chose the Invincibles; who they were; and looks in detail at the process of producing the pages with Roy of the Rovers artist David Sque. As you will know from previous newsletters I have taken this talk to a few places already. It is a great way for me to promote the book and explain what it is all about - and I was delighted to be invited again to be a part of the Chorley festival.

After the talk I'll be on hand to answer any questions and sign copies of the book. Entry is free.

Weds 27th June, 7.30pm, Ansdell Library, Lytham St Annes.

With the book now established and in various shops, I am looking for groups/partners that may be interested in presenting my illustrated talk.
Perhaps you or your club/organisation would like a speaker, would like to do some fundraising, or raise money for a charity? Maybe put an event on and present the talk with a Q & A session?
