Lee Travis is offering a free workshop “Walk Away Splits”, on April 28 starting at 11 AM, for any beekeepers not familiar with this essential tool in hive management.  This is a hands on discussion/demonstration of the steps involved in the various types of split.  The workshop will be informal, mostly in the beeyard, covering many topics important to new beekeepers. 
Please bring your veil.
