WHAT'S HAPPENING AT EvFREE – APRIL 26, 2018

Our Mission to Preschoolers

Have you heard? EvFree Fullerton has a state-licensed preschool! Watching young children's curiosity transform into real ideas, learning to show empathy towards one another, and fostering a love of lifelong learning is what we strive to teach at EvFree Preschool. With a program that has existed for over thirty years, we have been a community partner with families in and outside of our church. God is at the center of our preschool; in fact, we call our teachers missionaries and the preschool is their mission field. Our program has held a high reputation and word of mouth is how we fill our school each year. We have staff that have been with us one to 27 years. Our 33-year veteran Bible teacher, Ms. Edith Hammaker, just retired last week, after planting seeds in the hearts of thousands of little ones.

Our weekly Bible class, bi-monthly chapel with pastoral guest speakers and daily prayer shape the minds of the children we serve to grow up and know Jesus. Each month, our teachers build off our annual curriculum to teach the many ways God shows us His love. Have you seen our preschool in action? As part of our church family, we would love to invite you to come see for yourself what God is doing in the hearts of the children and staff in our preschool. Please join us in prayer as we finish out this current school year and gear up for a new season of helping the next generation grow.

Registrations for new families begin May 1.

Jump-Up Sunday

There I stood, on the edge, heart pounding, palms sweating weighing my next move carefully. With one more look around I took a deep breath and lept! Thankfully, I jumped right into a set of loving arms that had been waiting to catch me. I don’t think I will ever forget the anticipation of the jump followed by the comfort of knowing there was someone to catch me on the other side.

On Sunday, June 3 kids across our campus are going to be jumping into new experiences of their own. It’s Jump Up Sunday and it’s the day that our kids move into their new grade levels/classrooms. It’s a day filled with excitement and anticipation, but the one thing that makes all the difference is knowing that as they jump they will land safely in the arms of people with smiling faces ready to greet them and walk with them on their journey of discovering who Christ is and how much He loves them!

Would you consider being those arms for our kids? We have a variety of ways to serve and we would love for you to jump in with us.

For more information about serving in Kids Ministry, complete the EvFree Kids Volunteer Information form or email Miriam Mohler.

Hebrews Response Sunday

What is an "ancient truth" that has impacted your "modern faith"? On Sunday, May 27th, we will celebrate and share the ways that God has worked among us through our study in the book of Hebrews. We would love to know how YOU have respond over the course of the series. Please share your response to God's word with us at response@evfreefullerton.com.

Elder Affirmations

On May 6th, we affirm the elders who have been nominated for the new season ahead. If you are unable to attend that morning, affirmation ballots will be available this Sunday, April 29, at Guest Central and in the church office, Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
