Grateful. It's a powerful word, but it can't begin to encompass my emotions. It's been one week since my book launched and I feel completely blessed. The village that has been supporting me is the strongest I know—there are simply too many people to acknowledge, and I truly can't thank you all enough for buying the book, celebrating its message, and spreading the love.

And know this: Your hard work and support has paid off. Two days post-launch we already went back to press (!) and the buzz continues—the book has been featured in People magazine (particularly exciting to me since I spent many years on the leadership team at People.com!), on Time.com, on Yahoo! Finance, and many other fantastic outlets. Every review and social media post helped. We did it, guys!

But it's only the beginning. Yesterday was World Book Day and I had the pleasure of sitting on a panel with Farnoosh Torabi and Leah Carroll. Sharing our book journeys was so satisfying—and I want to highlight a few amazing authors on the cusp of their own launch dates because I know firsthand that it takes a village to spread the word. Please check out the soon-to-be published books by Maxie McCoy, Nataly Kogan, Whitney Johnson, Jaclyn Johnson, and Tiffany Pham.

TIP / Make Time for Self-Care

I'm so grateful WelleCo came into my life. The Australian-based company, cofounded by Elle Macpherson and Dr. Andrea Horwood, makes whole food elixirs in an easily absorbable form. With my book coming out, I haven't been so great about self-care these last few months, but the one thing I consistently do every day is drink WelleCo's Super Elixir (proof: this breakfast photo of me and my boys!). I'm such a fan of how it gives me energy and makes my skin glow. I'm also so appreciative that WelleCo is supporting the book launch and providing copies for everyone who attends a book party. My Startup Life

Werk relaunched their site and I love their new feature on finding your flexibility type. They acknowledge that there is not a one-size-fits-all solution to flexible work and guides you through the options. Find your FlexType here.

For founders who are looking to raise money, I recently presented my take on "The Perfect Pitch" at the Million Dollar Women Summit and Rent the Runway Foundation's Project Entrepreneur Summit. At each event, I walked more than 200 female founders through a template for a strong fundraising pitch check. I created this presentation in 2015 after listening to hundreds of pitches. It's available for you here.

My Refinery 29 Column

I am so grateful Refinery29 has given me the opportunity to help young women tackle their career challenges. I gave this dear reader advice for a troublesome situation—see what happened.  For our next column, we are looking for questions from college students about first jobs, networking, anything really. If you or someone you know has tough career questions, send them to fran@franhauser.com.
