In this latest edition we let you know of last month’s AGM, most recent Committee meet & Thursday “Beer O’Clock” event.

We'll also highlight some new (and not so new!) traders and committee members, let you know about upcoming networking events, plus some Council and Footscray community stuff that’s relevant to us that trade, shop and live in Footscray!

AGM & March Beer O'Clock! Trader Networking Event...

The Footscray Traders Association AGM was held at the 29 March (last Thursday) monthly Beer O'Clock event at Pride of our Footscray Community Bar.

It was a really good turnout of FTA members and supporters who got to hear of some really exciting achievements in the past 12 months and see the 'first cut' of our Footscray promo film by Farmwalker films.

2018/19 FTA Committee

A thank you to outgoing members and welcome to the continuing & incoming FTA Committee for 2018/19 including: Stuart (President) & Liana Lucca-Pope, Fabio Cammarano (Treasurer), Steve Hubbard (Vice President), Sarah Smith (Secretary), Raymond Tang, Bec Howell and Gemeda Adem.

All local traders and friends (whether members or not) are invited to Beer O'Clock - our regular, informal, networking events held on the last Thursday (in 2018) of every month. Paid up FTA Members get their first beer/wine/soft drink free!

Footscray Focus

As noted last month, 'Footscray a great place to trade, shop and live' the Film is coming soon!

Footscray Traders has commissioned local film makers Farmwalker Films to create a short promo film that will engage people to come to Footscray to trade, shop and live.

The film is aimed to break any stigmas that may still exist, to highlight the best parts of Footscray and showcase it's many sides.

West Projections 2018 Call for artists

West Projections 2018 call for artists - The West Projections Festival is an immersive series of projections seen after dark in Footscray. Wynter Projects and Victoria University invite artists to apply to exhibit work in the fifth year of the West Projections festival. Entries close 27 April.
