Here at Pomegranate Center, we've been thinking a lot lately about who we are and what it is we do. We know we strengthen communities, and as a supporter of our mission, you probably know that too. But what exactly does that mean?
It means that Pomegranate Center transforms communities by simplifying and infusing community engagement with creativity and clarity. Our proven Pomegranate Method training empowers those on the front lines to engage communities in inclusive and decisive public processes.
Here is what else we know: our country needs this work right now. Perhaps more than ever, our communities need help working together, and they need new models and new leadership. And you folks–those who have decided this kind of collaborative work is important–you are on the front lines.
So here is how you can help today. Today is the Seattle-wide day of giving known as GiveBIG, and it's a special one because after nine years and millions of dollars donated, it's the last time Seattle Foundation is organizing such a large scale opportunity for philanthropy. Here's the great news: because of a generous matching grant donated by a longtime friend of Pomegranate Center, anything you give today will be doubled!
