Pride Month is Almost Here!
As the weather warms up, that means Pride Month is almost here! We're excited to take part in a variety of Pride celebrations around the state. Here's a quick glimpse of everything happening in May and June for Pride:
Youth Pride: May 19th (Boston, MA)
Youth Pride is celebrating 24 years of queer youth movement in Massachusetts! Come out and join the oldest youth-led, adult-supported LGBTQ Youth Pride celebration in the country. Stop by the MTPC table at Youth Pride!
Berkshire Pride: June 2nd (Pittsfield, MA)
We'll be hosting a table at Berkshire Pride, and speaking during the program. Stop by to learn more about MTPC, what we're up to, and purchase one of our pronoun buttons.
Lowell Pride: June 2nd (Lowell, MA)
Join the Freedom for All Massachusetts campaign to celebrate Pride in Lowell!
Boston Pride: June 9th (Boston, MA)
This year, we'll be marching as a part of the Freedom for all Massachusetts campaign, along with other coalition partners. We'll also have a limited number of MTPC pride-themed t-shirts and tank-tops available at the parade. North Shore Pride: June 23rd (Salem, MA)
Come out and celebrate the 7th annual North Shore Pride Parade and Festival. The Parade kicks off at noon with celebrity Grand Marshall comedienne Caroline Rhea (TV’s “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”) and a new expanded route through downtown Salem that ends on Salem Commons park for the festival.
Cape Pride: June 24 (East Falmouth, MA)
A family-friendly celebration of the Cape's LGBTQ community, its allies and friends! Entertainment, food, vendors, displays from community organizations, a fantastic raffle of goods and services and more!

Help us Ban Conversion Therapy
Legislation to ban so-called "conversion therapy" for LGTBQ youth is currently held up in the Massachusetts State House. We know that these so-called "therapy" techniques are harmful, wrong, and never work - you can't change someone's gender identity or sexual orientation through abuse or shame.
We need your help to keep this legislation moving towards passage, before the session ends. Call your Massachusetts state representative next Thursday, May 17th, the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. Ask your representative to tell House Ways and Means chair, Representative Jeffrey Sánchez, that H. 1190 should be voted favorably out of the committee as soon as possible.
