With the end of the school year approaching for many students, now is a great time to introduce even more hands-on and exploratory activities. This week's newsletter has a GOLD MINE of things you can do with students at a variety of ages. Check it out, as it is a PERFECT thing to introduce!

Cut Out Fold Up

Ed Campos translates the TTM newsletters into Spanish, and this week's will be available soon. Also, be sure to share with friends many of the Table Talk Math newsletters that are available!

Personally, I love the end of the school year. Not because the year ends, or students leave; I actually really dislike that part. With the weight of testing season off my--and my students'--shoulders, we can get back to doing some rich math tasks. I use that time to push myself, and my students, to think even deeper and have even more rich mathematical conversations. Recently, I found a website that provides plenty of opportunity for all of that and more. At cutoutfoldup.com, there are a variety of projects and tasks that engage students and get them using mathematics throughout.

Included in many of the posts is a YouTube video showing how to complete the task, as some get pretty challenging! For example, click below to learn how you can make the object in the image above. It's a ton of fun!

Which ones are you trying out with your kids? I'd love to hear what you come up with! Reach out on Twitter or reply back to this email for a chance to win a signed copy of Table Talk Math.
Have you taken the leap and picked up your copy of Table Talk Math? If so, I would be incredibly honored to have you leave a review on Amazon. It helps others get an idea of what kind of book they're getting and offers an extra insight that I would love to have.

Thank you for bringing math to the table!
