Thank you to all who have visited the club website to get information from it. Usage was up in April on previous months with members looking at the pages on offer. Which is great news as we are looking at extending the features of the site in future.

I have made a commitment to keep the website updated with Team News, Fixture Updates and Club Tournament progress for this season, as we do not have a clubhouse yet to display information. Please feel free to use this site as much as possible.

Club Tournaments Published

Thank you to everyone who has entered the club tournaments.
The tournaments have now been drawn and are displayed on the website. The dates are quite fluid at the moment due to the Clubhouse Rebuild, but when we do actually get into the building and on the green, I will have to revise the Play By Dates to accommodate the late start. I will endeavour to print a copy, but until then the listing only exists on the website.
Mixed Doubles Tournament
We have a number of men members wishing to play this tournament, but do not have lady partners. if any of the lady members would like to enter this tournament, please let me know - Closing date is 20th May 2018.

This photo was taken a while ago, but I just wanted to show you our new clock tower on the pavilion. Good progress has been made in the last few weeks but we do not have a finalised date yet for the pavilion and green opening. We will of course keep you informed as we have details.

As the season goes on I will try and bring match results into the newsletter so that members can see how we are doing in Leagues and competitions that you may not be playing in.
Our first game at Barton Le Clay unfortunately was rained off after a number of ends, but it was good to catch up with members we have not seen on the bowling green for a while.
Our first County League Match at Potton saw us loose overall by one shot, it was a close match with one rink doing particularly well against the opposition, but it came down to a measure on the last end to decide the game.
