 Join us to celebrate 20 years of helping families heal
If you work with looked after or adopted children, we would like to invite you to join us at our conference Assessing and Treating Developmentally Traumatised Children which will be an opportunity to discuss how we can improve support for families going forward and for you to hear about the latest research on outcomes for children following treatment vs. non-treatment.
Our keynote speaker, Professor Colwyn Trevarthen will lead an exciting combination of presentations, followed by themed workshops in the afternoon on key aspects of working with developmentally traumatised children. The conference will take place on 19 October at The Crystal, London and we are currently offering an early bird discounted rate for bookings.  Celebrating 20 years - Thanks yous!
All of us at Family Futures would like to thank the parents and children who have trusted us enough to come here and who have taught us more about the experience of adoption than any book in any library.
We would also like to thank the staff who have worked here over the years, who have engaged in what at times is emotionally challenging and demanding therapeutic work, and we thank the following who have guided our thinking along with other neuroscientists and creative art therapists: Dan Hughes (DDP), Phyllis Booth (Theraplay ®), Jean Ayres (Sensory Integration), Peter Levine and Bruce Perry.
