Greetings from Maine where it's finally (mostly) safe to leave the house without a sweater!

My new album Happiness to Burn, produced by internationally acclaimed producer and songwriter Shane Alexander at Buddhaland Studios in Los Angeles, is OUT and has been receiving uniformly positive international reviews. I couldn't be more thrilled at this reception. It's currently #20 on the EuroAmericana chart. If you are a Kickstarter supporter, you've hopefully received your copy (vinyl will be coming in the summer). CDs available for sale directly from my web site. You can also buy the album on iTunes, stream on Spotify, or wherever you love buying music. (Bull Moose fans, it'll be there soon!) Any old way you like--please give a listen. I'm incredibly proud of this record in every way and I think you will love it.

A lot has happened, and is happening! My first experience at the legendary SXSW festival in Austin in March was outstanding. So much good music and so many truly generous and kind people who believe in great music, and my work was received with enthusiasm, including at the legendary Threadgill's World Headquarters which was a real thrill. Saturday I got to relax and visit Willie Nelson's Luck Ranch, with about 5,000 other *very* relaxed people! 



I'm also in the middle of a major radio campaign to 280 radio outlets in the US. Stay tuned--and call your favorite Americana / Country DJ to request a song!

My band is taking shape here in Portland--I am so thrilled to say that for the first time in my life I have my OWN band--and that they are all great musicians as well as stellar human beings. We had an outstanding hometown album release show at Mayo Street Arts last week, and are thrilled to do another show SATURDAY night MAY 5 at Robinhood Free Meetinghouse in Georgetown as part of their music series.
