This weekend Scottish conductor Rory Macdonald leads WASO in three witty, jaunty and mesmerising works.  First, Stravinsky’s, Dumbarton Oaks, then  Prokofiev’s suite from the 1934 film Lieutenant Kijé. And finally, Boléro, building inexorably to a finale that’s nothing short of ecstatic!
