IHS Dynamics: "Euphoria"

DATE: Friday, May 11th
LOCATION: Irvington Cafeteria
TIME: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Come join us for "Euphoria", a benefit concert organized by IHS Dynamics! The clubs at Kennedy High School will also be participating in this musical event. The proceeds will go to Boldly Me, an organization which helps to build community awareness and individual self esteem so that feeling or being different is embraced by the individual and society.

Second Annual IHS CCA Zombie Run

DATE: Saturday, June 2nd
LOCATION: Irvington High School
TIME: 4:00 PM till close

Sign up by June 1st to participate! Once you sign up, make sure to get your admission ticket & waiver at the Viking Vendor in the Cafeteria. In addition, there is an injury waiver that will act as your ticket to the event.

It is a FUN obstacle course/run/scavenger hunt! Runners will be in groups of 4-8. If desired, the course can be repeated. Course finishers get a FREE Zombie Run t-shirt!

Students in Action

Irvington will be joining Students in Action by the Jefferson Award Foundation!

This is a program that awards students for their service efforts. We, as a school, will be recognizing individuals through our Students in Action (SIA) blog on ihsvikings.org and by handing out awards at an awards night at the end of the year.

Students in Action will become a permanent committee in ASG starting next year to fully devote time to recognizing the efforts of service projects. ASG will also be implementing a process where students can apply to be an official SIA service project, allowing them to use fundraise and use ASG funds, similar to clubs.
