What's the most innovative and exciting work you're offering in continuing education? How is your work strengthening ministry, deepening the faith of church leaders, and helping the church respond to God's call for authentic and relevant ministry in this complicated time? What can the rest of us learn from your successes -- or even from your failures? Share your work at next November's Annual Meeting of ALLLM and the REA, and help us all learn from you.

ALLLM and REA Annual Meetings

2-4 November, 2018
Washington DC

Deadline for Proposals is May 15

Your leadership team is working with our new partner, REA (Religious Education Association) to plan for our annual meeting in conjunction with the REA Conference and Annual Meeting, November 2-4, 2018.  We will announce more details about our ALLLM meeting and speaker soon.

Consider presenting a workshop at the meeting

We know some of you are doing innovative work making continuing education accessible and meaningful to clergy and other church leaders. This work extends beyond the individuals engaged in the course or seminar, as those leaders extend the learning as they share what they learn with the people with whom they serve. Many of us seek to find ways to address and engage with the questions raised in the conference description. We find ways to market and evaluate and plan programs – in traditional classes and online classes – that encourage dynamic, thriving ministry leaders to do the work they are called to do.

Your practice is important. The programming you create and coordinate matters. Your experience is worth sharing.

Support the conference by submitting a proposal for a poster or a RIG proposal by the deadline of MAY 15. When you do so, identify yourself as a member/friend of ALLLM, explain that the topic is of interest to practitioners engaged in providing non-degree, generally post-graduate continuing education for clergy and other church leaders, and that  the session will be more of a workshop than an academic presentation.
