MAY 2018 NEWSLETTER
Greetings,
As I write these words with door full open and birds singing there is a sense of relief, joy and peace in the arrival of new creation. We call it spring.  Perhaps its knowing the Truth that no matter how bleak the winter God will consistently revel the experience.  Our ever consistent God is always true to us.

In a beautiful reflection, Pope Francis writes "Let the grace of your baptism bear fruit in a path of holiness. Let everything be open to God, turn to [God] in every situation."  As we turn to God's consistent Truth that enables us, let us pray that the Holy Spirit grace us with understanding, courage and forbearance to be and do the work we are called to do.

A simple act we can all do this month is sign the petition to End Child Poverty. If you have already signed it, ask one other person to do the same.

Blessings on your ministry and Happy Spring!

Pope Francis Quote
"Just as you cannot understand Christ apart from the kingdom he came to bring, so too your personal mission is inseparable from the building of that kingdom: “Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Mt 6:33). Your identification with Christ and his will involves a commitment to build with him that kingdom of love, justice and universal peace." GAUDETE ET EXSULTATE, Pope Francis
