May 1 – May 5 – GRN
Praise God for a good turn out at our Banquet that was held on Saturday.  

Pray for a meeting David Elliott has with a foundation the first part of this month.  The want to talk with the director in Kenya about the projects.  Pray that we will be able to connect with out any problems.  The request is to support the recording of two priority languages in Kenya.  Pray that they will look favourably on the projects.

Pray for the work in Spain to distribute GRN materials to the immigrants.  Many North Africans try to get to Spain and other parts of Europe.
 
Pray for GRN Switzerland as they support many French speaking GRN ministries.
 
Pray for Daniel Oddon, as he leads the work, reaching out to migrants.
 
MAY 6 – 12 – Canada
The GRN Canada volunteer prayer group meets this Monday to pray for the ministry.  If you are in the Hamilton area do consider joining us.
 
Pray for David Elliott as he works on the next issue of the Update and the Praise & Prayer.
 
Pray for Kevin and Ruth Horan as they visit their Canadian supporters over the next few weeks.
 
Distribution of GRN audio materials is largely done by local churches in or near the target area.  Pray that the churches will be blessed by seeing their own believers grow in Christ. Also pray that new listeners will come to Christ as a result of hearing the message of salvation in their heart language.
 
Many missionaries use GRN materials in their outreach ministries.  Pray that much fruit would result from their use.
 
One of the partner missions that use our material is Galcom International.  Praise God that last year nearly 18,000 of their players were loaded with GRN audio materials.
 
Pray for the continued and expanded use of the GRN audio files through partner ministries.
 
May 13 – 19 GRN Technical Department
The website is constantly being updated to keep content fresh and to add new features. Pray for creative and effective ideas for the team of Elise Cooper, Helen Sadler and Rob McDonell.
 
Praise the Lord for the modern technology and outreach of the 5fish App and Facebook evangelism.  Pray for increased usage of both.
 
Pray for the continued development of the Saber player.
 
Pray that the U.S. office will be able to build two recording studios.
 
Pray for Kevin Horan, in the U.S. office as he writes computer programs and maintains the proper working of the servers in the U.S. office.
 
May 20 – 26 – GRN Recordists
Pray for Elise Cooper as she, in consultation with the Recordist Coordinator, Jon Rulison, develops Online Training.
 
Pray for Jon as he plans future recordists training.
 
The recordists not only do the recording but need to work with the helpers as they translate the Bible stories. Pray for wisdom and patience as they work with the language helpers.
 
Pray for Studio that they will be able to process the recordings in a timely manner so they may be added to the GRN web page for download.
Pray that God will raise up new recordists.
 
Pray that the financial needs will be met for the equipping and training of the recordists.
 
May 27 – 31 – International
Pray for the Nepal team as they face increasing political difficulties in their country.
 
Pray for ministries in Canada that are having to stand strong in face of political correctness or Biblical convictions.
 
There was a prayer request for someone to develop GRN Bible scripts directed to Buddhists.  Clair Rulison, in Thailand has taken a seminar on rituals in Buddhist culture.  Pray for wisdom in how to use the information received.
