During the last weekend of April we had two permaculture courses running at Bridgend Farmhouse. As well as the Edinburgh PDC group, we welcomed folk on a 2-day Introduction to Permaculture course. Exciting to have so many people together on the same site talking permaculture.
Sessions included a fermenting workshop led by Szymon: ramsons (Allium ursinum), cow parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris) and common hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) were fermented. And there was a fringe spoon carving demonstration with Alien Spoons.
Courses coming up
We've got more short permaculture courses planned for this summer, including a Forest Gardening taster day in Fife. Stay tuned for more on these in the next newsletter.
