Hot Lunch Program- Healthy home-cooked meals are on their way! We are thrilled to be launching this affordable trial program in just two weeks time. Our scrumptious menu, prepared by Grade 5 and 10 parent Jacinda Oldale, includes burritos (May 16), penne pasta (May 30), and a Greek feast (June 6)! Watch for an order form next week. Pre-ordering will be required.
VWS Summer Camp is Back - For children ages 6 to 12 at the Grade School Campus. June 25 to 29, from 8:30 to 3:30 pm daily. Activities include garden art, outdoor play, baking, beach trip, and much more! $350 includes hot organic lunch and snacks. Get Involved - A number of people have asked how they can get involved and help with the New Moon Social. We would love your help and have a few options to share: buy your ticket (www.bit.ly/newmoonsocial), encourage your friends to buy their tickets, donate a silent auction item, donate a bottle of wine, sign-up to be a volunteer on the day of the event (set-up / take-down crew or other support role during the event). Health & Safety - Thanks to all for supporting the "Kiss & Go" model for drop off at the Grade School, and not leaving your vehicle in the fire lane along the front of the school. The mornings have seen a much-needed improvement to the flow of traffic. Thank you, as well for awareness around reducing cell phone usage on campus.
