CLAHRC North Thames: Two PhD studentships available


Two exciting new PhD studentship opportunities are available through NIHR SPHR and the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) North Thames. Projects on offer are focused on public health research in inequalities, public mental health and/or children and young people.

The deadline for applications is 17:00 Tuesday 15 May.

Kate Granger Awards for Compassionate Care

The award categories are:

  • For an individual working in the NHS or delivering NHS funded services
  • For teams who are part of the NHS or who deliver NHS funded services
  • For whole organisations that are part of the NHS or deliver NHS funded services
  • A certificate of recognition for seven individuals across seven decades of the NHS who have worked tirelessly and innovatively to provide compassionate care for patients and those cared for.

The closing date for entries is Friday 15 June 2018

Recovery: A paradigm shift in Mental Health –  Public Health Master Class

The speakers at this Master Class will address the case for mediation in families, shared decision making as co-production in mental health interventions, working with hope and education as a part of personal and organisational change.
