Clemson UMC is starting a United Methodist Men's group. We will have our initial meeting on Tuesday, May 29, at 7pm in CLC 402.

In the Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, the organization is described this way: “United Methodist Men exists to declare the centrality of Christ in every man’s life. Men’s ministry leads to the spiritual growth of men and effective discipleship. This purpose is served as men are called to model the servant leadership of Jesus Christ.”

Calling All Men!
We would like to honor the extraordinary ladies in our lives with a special musical offering on Mother’s Day. All men are invited to sing in a special Men’s Choir for Sunday, May 13 at the 8:30 and 11:00am traditional services. There will be two special rehearsals on Wednesdays, May 2 and May 9 at 6:00pm in the choir room. We will sing something easy and fun. If you aren’t able to make either one of these rehearsals, or would like further information, contact Jamie Bryson (jamie@clemsonumc.org). 

Middle School Choir Interest Meeting
In response to interest from parents, CUMC would like to start a Middle School Choir for Fall 2018. There will be an interest meeting on Wednesday, May 16, immediately following the Kids’ Choir performance, in room 308 of the Worship Center. All those with children in grades 6-8, beginning Fall 2018, are encouraged to attend. We will discuss the time of rehearsals and musical ideas for the group. The meeting will last no more than 15 minutes. Contact Jamie Bryson for further information (jamie@clemsonumc.org).

Little Lights Learning Center is hiring part-time and full-time teachers for ages infant-4 years.

Clemson Child Development Center Homes Tour
Proceeds from the tour, taking place on May 6, will benefit scholarships for Clemson Child Development Center. Ticket price is $25 and includes lunch at Occasions from 11:00am-2:00pm with tour of five homes and a new B&B from 11:00am-4:30pm.
