What is the title of your session?  Accessing Your Body Wisdom Using Nature and the Outdoors

What is your favorite part of being outside?  My favorite part of being outdoors is the peace and contentedness I feel. I have a labyrinth in my backyard and taking a few minutes to sit and breath in Mother Nature can shift any bad mood.
                      
                                           
What is your favorite hike?  One of my favorite hikes is the when I took 8 of my Senior Girl Scouts to the Len Foote Hike Inn - a ten-mile round trip hike from Amicalola Falls.  

What is your one piece of 'Never Leave Home Without' gear?
My never-leave-home-without piece of gear would have to be my Halulite Tea Kettle - I love its functionality and the fact that I can have my tea ritual on the trail for soothing, healing or just heating water.

 

What encouragement would you give to a woman that is new to the outdoors or nervous about getting out there? 
Believe in yourself and get a buddy.  I know it's cliche to say that every journey begins with a single step but truly, incrementally, you can do anything.  Order that one piece of equipment today, join a group online to see what's happening, do one thing that delights you outdoors today.  Stop for a moment outside and taking a deep breath and allowing the magic of Mother Nature to whisper to your soul.  She is waiting. 

                                                              

Any other thoughts?  Our bodies have wisdom.  They carry our stories, the good and the bad.  Telling these stories and listening can be magical for ourselves and others.
