Raising children in cohousing

Register
The adage says "It takes a village to raise a child."
What does it feel like when that village includes other parents, other kids, and the bigger circle of a cohousing community?

Parents from two families at Monterey Cohousing will speak from the heart about their own and their children's experiences; bring your questions! Thurs., Sept. 20, 2018 at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. $8 to register.
Details and registration

This is Twin Cities Cohousing Network's quarterly presentation on topics of interest to our broader community. Optional potluck--if you'd like to eat supper with the group, please bring a dish to share. (An ingredient list for your dish would be helpful.)

Get a sneak preview by watching this REWIRE segment from tpt (6:45).

Making progress on and finding compatriots to help navigate your journey of successful aging and cohousing exploration can be difficult. These workshops provide that opportunity. Register today. Monterey Cohousing working on expansion plan

Monterey Cohousing Community decided in June to begin a process for planning, designing and building up to eight additional units that would add to the size of their community. Urban Works Architecture is their partner on developing their concept into reality. See more here.

Monterey, located in St Louis Park, is having a National Night Out potluck this evening (Tues., Aug. 7, 2018); more information is available on their website.

If you might be interested in exploring membership with Monterey, now is great time to do it. They suggest reaching out and connecting with them on their Contact Us page to be informed about any upcoming open house information events.

Communications co-learning group - websites, emails, social media

Would you like an informal ongoing learning group to explore WordPress websites, formatted emails using MailChimp, and social media such as Facebook and Twitter? You are invited to participate in a series of loosely structured co-learning sessions organized by the Communications Circle. Share what we each know, and explore resources for what we don't.

Let us know about your background and interests via twincities@cohousing.org and if you include your email address, we'll put you on the Doodle poll list for finding a time to meet.
