May, a month full of excitement
Dear Friends,
Here we are in May and so many exciting things are happening.
I have cleaned up and updated my personal site! This has been on my to do list for ages and I've finally managed to make the time for it. See right bar for more info.
Last week I presented 'The Intuitive Portrait: How to Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Heart to Capture More Meaningful Photos' at B&H's DoF 2 day conference. The feedback I received was just astonishing. I'm so happy there are so many people who resonated with a more artistic approach to portraiture!
Our group gallery show at Governors Island will be kicking off at the end of the month (see info in right sidebar). We hope you will come see the show and spend a fun filled day out on the island (or if you decide to rest up you can try to snag one of the hammocks)!

Group Show at Governors Island
The house is getting cleaned up and images will be hung in the next few weeks! Our show will open May 26th and run through July 8th in Colonels Row, House 405A. House hours are Sat & Sun 10am - 6pm. Please visit the Governors Island website for info on how to get to the island and also to see all the fun activities they have stored for the summer.

Summer Camp for Kids & Teens
Summer camp for children/teens is starting to fill up. If you are interested in having your child participate, we advise to book as soon as possible.
May's Charity: Aids Walk
Every month AoIP donates 10% of our income from our website sales to a charity/fundraiser that is in immediate need, or is a choice from our AoIP community.
In May we will be participating in the AIDS Walk.
Please join our team and walk with us on Sunday, May 20th, in Central Park, to help raise money.
Please invite your family and friends to join too (and bring your camera to document the walk)!
