Families can always choose to purchase school supplies on their own.  It is not required that families order school supplies through this company, this is just a different option for shopping.

Lost and Found
Lost and found items not picked up by the last week of school will be donated to charity.  Please make sure you label all items your students bring to school so they may be returned to their homeroom teachers.
Yearbook - Last Chance
Did you forget to pre-purchase a yearbook?  Extra yearbooks are available for purchase on a first come first serve basis (only 42 available).  Must be purchased through the school store and will be delivered to your student's homeroom.  Click HERE to visit the school store.  (please note, only 3 left, once they are sold out the store will not allow you to place the item in your cart).
Transition Update to New Uniform Company
Beginning next year, Lutz Prep is changing uniform vendors to Red’s Team Sports (Red’s).  Red’s has been in business for several years and holds a great track record working with schools.  As you may have read in previous articles of the Newsflash, 2018-19 will be a transition year where students may continue to wear the uniforms they currently wear to Lutz Prep.  However, the following year (2019-2020), all uniform polos will come from Red’s.  As previously mentioned, the company will offer a variety of shirt options to help meet our student’s needs or preferences.

Red’s is in the process of creating a customized website that will feature all the uniform options.  These options will include, but not be limited to, cotton blend and Dri-Fit polos, variety of bottoms, outerwear, PE uniforms, spirit shirts and accessories.  All orders will be shipped directly to your home.  The prices are lower than Land’s End (our current partner for uniforms) which adds as an additional benefit to our families.

There are three options to be fitted for uniforms:
  1. Visit Red’s physical location in the Brandon/Riverview area:  4542 Eagle Falls Pl, Tampa, FL 33619
  2. Attend Red’s Uniform Day (TBA): Red’s will be at Lutz Prep with a variety of uniform options to try on and take orders.
  3. Stop by Lutz Prep during summer office hours to visit our “Fitting Station.”  We will have a few sizes for students to try on.  The Fitting Station will remain at Lutz Prep all year.
As with any change, we anticipate families may have questions so please click HERE to view a Q & A link for your convenience. Thank you for your support and patience during this transition!  Please contact administration@lutzprep.org with any additional questions.

Personal Identification Number (PIN) Letters for Viewing Florida Assessment Scores Online (Grades 3-5)
Reminder, individualized letters were sent home with our 3rd-5th grade families the week of April 30th.  The student specific PIN is provided so that families of students in grades 3-5 can view Florida Standard Assessment (FSA) results online.
  • Should a parent/guardian misplace the PIN letter, the PIN can be requested online and delivered to the parent via email or text message using the head of household contact information on record for the student.  Click HERE to request your PIN.
  • Only the achievement levels and overall scale scores are displayed online.  The official home report from the Florida Department of Education remains the primary source of communication to families for Florida assessment scores.  The paper distribution process of home reports from schools to parents/guardians remains unchanged.
  • Grade 3 ELA (English Language Arts) assessment results are expected from the state in May.  Other assessment results are expected from the state in June or July.
  • Families will be notified via ParentLink and an announcement on the Hillsborough County Public Schools website when scores are available online.
  • Elementary student report cards are still not available online and the elementary report card process remains unchanged.
  • Middle and high school online report card process remains unchanged.
