Artistic Director Elizabeth Blumenstock has programmed this year’s five concerts with an emphasis on works originally heard in 18th-century Paris, plus fascinating 17th-century discoveries and some wonderful Bach and Handel. The programs feature both familiar and seldom-heard music, unusual instruments, and exquisite orchestral, chamber and vocal works.
A Festival Subscription provides premium seating at all five concerts, plus admission to the private post-concert dinner following the Festival Finale on June 24. This year the subscribers' dinner will be held at the Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens. Order a Festival Subscription now, or browse through individual concerts below.
Behind the notes: Our own Rob Diggins is well known on the early-music scene from Portland to Orange County, and a familiar welcoming face on stage at our Festival. He leads a truly global life through his teachings in music and much besides. Find out more by reading Rob’s interview with Artistic Director Elizabeth Blumenstock.
