MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
Happy Summer Blue Dog Family! Can't wait for our beautiful weather to disappear and have the fog roll in :)
As summer approaches, we are unfortunately saying goodbye to one of our wonderful team members, Jae. Jae started out as a walker with us 2 years ago after she finished college and moved to SF. While working part time for Blue Dog she was pursuing other opportunities, but after excelling with her regular route it was obvious that the Blue Dog team needed her doing more for the company.
She became one of our Assistant Managers about a year ago and continued to excel at her job, so in no time at all she became our second Territory Manager. As a territory manager Jae managed our SOMA walkers, and we can also thank her for the countless Yappy Hours that she organized at our partner buildings in Rincon Hill and Mission Bay.
Needless to say that the Blue Dog team will miss Jae, but we wish her the best in her future endeavors!
Thankfully, we have two of our Assistant Mangers stepping up to take her place, Ale and Rebekah. As always, when in doubt just email info@bluedogsf.com, and we can direct you to the right person from there. |

DOG OF THE MONTH: SNEAKERS

Prepare to be starstruck as our "Dog of the Month" is none other than Sneakers! Since Corgi Con is just around the corner, we felt it was fitting to introduce this sweet and sassy girl that is famous both among our team, and on Instagram! Blue Dog has been part of Sneakers' entourage since October of 2016! When the pawparazzi isn't on her "tail" (so to speak), she enjoys naps, pizza, and saying hi to fans around the neighborhood! With her big eyes and petite paws, it's no wonder this girl has sneakered her way into thousands of hearts worldwide! MEET YOUR WALKER: ALLISON YASI
|
|
Allison has been a walker for us for nine months, and she's proven herself to be a rockstar! She loves adventuring with her pups around North Beach and always does her best to make sure her human clients are as happy as their furry friends. One of her favorite things about working for Blue Dog is getting to know the quirks of her dogs. For instance, Allison always gets a kick out of watching Birdie, a small lab, pick up sticks in the park. Whether they are a few inches short or five feet long, Birdie is up for the challenge!
In her free time, Allison can be found reading, painting, hiking, and traveling. As a big animal lover, Allison has aspirations to work in wildlife conservation in the future, or to maybe follow her creative side and work in the arts. If she had to be a dog, Allison says she would probably be a malamute! Outside of just loving the breed, they both enjoy running and appreciate snow. We're not sure Allison's cat Annabelle would be a fan, though!

Get your sandals and sunscreen ready, because on June 16th Corgi Con will be at Ocean Beach for another wonderfurr time full of sun, sand, and belly rubs! Last year they had over 950 Corgis at the event, this year is sure to be another big bread-butt beach bash! The event will be held from 10am-2pm at Ocean Beach between Stairwell 2 and 5, and for more information about the event visit their website and head to their Facebook event to RSVP! Maybe we'll get to see some of our furry friends there, like this happy guy...

800 INDIANA YAPPY HOUR
On Wednesday, May 23, we a blast meeting new four-legged friends at 800 Indiana in Dog Patch. We joined Pawtrero Supply Store, PlayPal Park Buddy, and Kim Kasner of Burnin' Love Pet Portraiture for barks, laughter and lots of belly rubs. The night was a total success and we can't wait to have our new friends and their hoomans join the Blue Dog family!

355 BERRY YAPPY HOUR
On Thursday, May 17th, we had a pawfect Yappy Hour with our friends at 355 Berry Street!! With yummy treats both for humans and pups and plenty of cuddles to go around, we had the biggest turn out yet! We enjoyed getting to meet so many furry friends and we look forward to having them join our family. :) We'd like to thank 355 Berry for having us and all our current clients that came out to say hello and meet some more members in the Blue Dog team! |
