The big news for this month is the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which goes into full effect on the 25th of May. This will be our final "please stay in touch!" message. After the 25th we'll be removing from our mailing list anyone who has indicated that they would no longer like to receive our monthly newsletter or who hasn't opened one of our emails in the last two years. In March, Henry and Adrian spent two weeks in Kenya visiting a number of CHASE's partners. Henry organised a conference for all of our partners - an opportunity to meet together, share knowledge and experience, and learn from one another, and also enjoy the hospitality at Wendo's farm north of Nakuru. The conference was a great success and requests have already been made for another.

Adrian, in Africa for the first time, headed north to meet up with a CHAT mobile clinic visiting the small town of Barsaloi. Adrian was accompanied by Steve Bown, a long time supporter of CHASE. Steve and Adrian are working on a video about CHASE's work. After spending nearly a week in Barsaloi the next stop was the conference and then Adrian spent a few days with FOMAWA, visiting schools and seeing the tree planting work that FOMAWA have been doing.
