The session also incorporates interactive components. The afternoon focuses on tips and real-life examples. During this training, workers will benefit from practical strategies and a toolkit they can use when supporting an individual with FASD.

2018 Annual General Meeting

Join us for our Annual General Meeting as we celebrate the success of another year. On June 1st, at the Network's office in Saskatoon (510 Cynthia St) our stakeholders will come together for a 'year-in-review' presentation. This year's AGM will include changes to the bylaws and nominations to the Board of Directors. The proposed bylaw changes are available upon request. RSVP to communications@fasdnetwork.ca

Parent Advisory Committee

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) was created in 2017 after changes to the make-up of the Network’s Board. Now that the Board of Directors is no longer comprised only of caregivers the Network wants to make sure that Saskatchewan caregivers still have a voice within the organization.

The purpose of the PAC is to provide recommendations for the Network’s projects and services to maximize their ability to address recent and relevant issues faced by families impacted by FASD.  The goals of this committee are to identify emerging trends for Saskatchewan families impacted by FASD, provide guidance on the relevant Network projects, and help to raise awareness and increase education of FASD in Saskatchewan communities.

Your commitment to the PAC:

  • All PAC positions are volunteer.
  • The PAC hosts teleconference meetings three times a year.
  • Members serve on the committee for 1-year terms with the possibility of renewal.

To apply for the Network’s Parent Advisory Committee send an application to Andrea at executivedirecotr@fasdnetwork.ca
