2018 LPTexas Candidates
You can view all LPTexas candidates across the state. These campaigns need volunteers and donations and there are only 6 months left until elections! Please find a race you are interested in and reach out.
We will be doing local candidate support here in Bexar County - and YOU can be a part of the decision making process at the discussion meeting. Some ideas so far include door hangers, 8x4 highway signs, yard signs, and billboards. We also need local volunteers to help us at booths, block walking, and other outreach opportunities.
Becoming a monthly donor really creates opportunities for the party as well. Donating $15/month helps to purchase some of these advertisements and to get more attention for our candidates. Please consider making a donation or becoming a sustaining donor today! Please click below to help out.
May Discussion Meeting

We are currently searching for a new meeting location. If you have suggestions that you would like to offer please email officers@lpbexar.org. We will send out a special notice when we have confirmed a location.
This month's meeting we will be an interactive strategy session to give input on the direction for LPBexar this election cycle. We encourage everyone interested in helping in this process to join us tonight - we need your input!

We will be gathering for casual evening watching a movie and discussion. This is a great event to bring a friend to. We usually have snacks and drinks available, but feel free to bring your own food as well.

Operations Meeting

Our operations meeting are where we organize and plan party events. We also discuss potential future ideas and outreach. Our dedicated volunteers come to these meetings and work with use to set future goals. We are always looking for more to join us and participate in the growth of the party. If you would like to volunteer please come to this meeting!
National Convention
The 2018 LP National convention will be in New Orleans, LA on June 30th to July 3rd at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. LPTexas has selected its delegates, but other states do accept outside delegates. You can become a national LP member here: www.lp.org/donate. Convention site: libertarianconvention.org
The Libertarian National Committee has selected Austin, Texas as the location for the 2020 National Convention! Among other business, that convention will choose the Libertarian presidential and vice-presidential nominees for the 2020 election. The convention will take place Memorial Day weekend 2020 at the JW Marriott Austin hotel at 2nd Street and Congress Avenue.
