which opened in April, we are very proud and thrilled to announce another fully booked event on the 20th May.

'ANTIQUES HUNTING'

WEEKEND

SEPTEMBER 2018:

September 14th -16th - Make a note in your diary - West Street, Dorking, and the Dorking Halls Antiques Fair will be part off an 'antiques hunting weekend' event at Hartsfield Manor, Betchworth hosted by Adam Partridge, (Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers / Media Broadcasting & Events).

Adam is a leading antiques expert and auctioneer who has appeared on numerous antiques television programmes and since 2008, opened his own auction house in Cheshire.

The weekends entertainment at Hartfield Manor coincides with our fair 0n the 16th September and is recommended by Adam Partridge to visit as part of the programme of events (See below).

West Street Association is currently making arrangements for the weekend and we will keep you posted of their plans.

2nd Hall Opens at the

Dorking Halls 'April' Antiques

Fair.

Advertising is essential to the success of any event however, as organizers ‘word of mouth’ is also of great value and one that should not be taken lightly. The expansion of the Dorking Halls Antiques Fair was met with great enthusiasm in April by the trade & public with the organizers receiving complements throughout the day. Further feedback came after the event, from the ‘overheard’ conversations and recommendations passed from one person to another.

Full of praise by regular visitors reminiscing how the fair today equalled the ‘glory days’, past visitors once again returning and importantly attracting new buyers reinforced the success in making the step to expand the fair.

Grand Hall full of great antiques and, with the newly opened adjacent 2nd Hall, (The Martineau), also packed full of treasures - from Art Nouveau bronzes, (Gorringe Antiques), Scandinavian jewellery to hand coloured costume drawing signed by Erté, the Russian born, highly acclaimed fashion / Costume designer of the 1920s & 30's embracing the lavish influences of the Art Deco era, (see above).
