Dear Praying Friends,

Two years in France!
It is hard to believe that we have already served for two years in France! It seems like yesterday that we were saying goodbye to family and friends and leaving Canada after thirty years of ministry there.However, we are thrilled to be able to say that now more than ever, we know that we are right where God would have us to be at this time in our lives for Him.
Growing Pains
Two years into a work like this leads inevitably to some challenges.  One especially delicate situation has been quite emotionally taxing for the council members over recent months.  Thankfully, we saw unity and good faith in the difficult decisions that had to be made by them, and an understanding acceptance by the congregation when Mike informed the church of the situation two weeks ago. The important thing is that we continue to grow together in a love for sound Bible Doctrine, and that can’t happen without some “growing pains”! 
Training for Eager Believers
What a joy to be able to share the truths of God’s Word with those who want to grow in Him. In addition to the regular training ministry with our own folks, Mike will be teaching at the Bible Institute in Algrange in less than two weeks. His subject is “the Pastoral Care of the Suffering and Dying”.  Graduation will be at the close of his week of teaching. This year the institute celebrates 40 years of existence! We will be staying for the celebration to rejoice with our fellow workers and get to know them better. The very next weekend in June, we will be hosting our first French ministry team from a supporting church in Denver, Colorado.
