Middle School Choir Interest Meeting
In response to interest from parents, CUMC would like to start a Middle School Choir for Fall 2018. There will be an interest meeting this Wednesday, May 16, immediately following the Kids Choir performance, in room 308 of the Worship Center. All those with children in grades 6-8, beginning Fall 2018, are encouraged to attend. We will discuss the time of rehearsals and musical ideas for the group. The meeting will last no more than 15 minutes. Contact Jamie Bryson for further information (jamie@clemsonumc.org).

Clemson UMC is starting a United Methodist Men's group. We will have our initial meeting on Tuesday, May 29, at 7pm in CLC 402.

In the Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, the organization is described this way: “United Methodist Men exists to declare the centrality of Christ in every man’s life. Men’s ministry leads to the spiritual growth of men and effective discipleship. This purpose is served as men are called to model the servant leadership of Jesus Christ.”

Please join us as we grow together, striving to further the mission of the United Methodist Church in “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”

As we prepare for the departure of our Senior Pastor Keith Ray, we invite the Clemson UMC community to share in a love offering for him.
You may give to this offering by placing your gift in the offering plate/basket on Sunday, dropping it by the church office Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm, mailing a check to Clemson UMC, PO Box 590, Clemson SC 29633, or donating online by visiting our website at clemsonumc.org

There will be a Blood Drive at Clemson UMC on Monday, May 21, 3:30-7pm
If you attend the 8:30 service, sign up at the table in the Narthex before or after the service on May 20. If you attend The Vine, sign the schedule form at the information desk in the lobby. Anyone may sign up by calling the church office at 864-654-5547 or by calling Carolyn Briscoe at 864-506-0763.

Health Kits
On Tuesday, June 5, the South Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church will package 10,200 UMCOR Health Kits to do our part to support the UMC Abundant Health Initiative. UMCOR Health kits provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes because of human conflict or natural disaster. Volunteers will gather at the TD Convention Center to package the kits. UMCOR Health Kits cost $12 each, and Bishop Holston invites congregations across the state to contribute to this mission project. To contribute, make your payment payable to Clemson UMC and indicate on your check, envelope, or online gift, "HEALTH KITS."

Little Lights Learning Center is hiring part-time and full-time teachers for ages infant-4 years.
