Hello Friend

If you are looking to sell your home please allow me the opportunity to share with you my approach to getting your home sold as quickly and effectively as possible, all while maximizing the greatest possible return on one of your most valuable investments. I combine tried and tested sales and marketing tools with cutting edge technology and social media to target those most likely to be interested in purchasing your home. If you are looking to buy a house, I will take the time to truly listen to what your needs are and I won't be satisfied until I've found you a place where you (and your family) can call 'home'. Whether selling or buying, I will guide you as much or as little as necessary, depending on your individual needs. I will make myself available for any of your questions and I will do my best to provide you with a solution to any of your concerns; your priorities are my priorities.

Reduced demand is allowing housing supply to accumulate

Home buyer demand continues to decline across the Metro Vancouver* housing market.

The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential property sales in the region totalled 2,833 in May 2018, a 35.1 per cent decrease from the 4,364 sales recorded in May 2017, and a 9.8 per cent increase compared to April 2018 when 2,579 homes sold.

Last month’s sales were 19.3 per cent below the 10-year May sales average.

“With fewer homes selling today compared to recent years, the number of homes available for sale is rising,” Phil Moore, REBGV president said. “The selection of homes for sale in Metro Vancouver has risen to the highest levels we’ve seen in the last two years, yet supply is still below our long-term historical averages.”

5 Simple, Natural Ways to Keep Bugs Away

There are a lot of great things about summer, but bugs are not on that list! Many insects play important roles for the environment, so these natural methods will keep them from spoiling your summer fun without having harmful effects.

Grow the right plants

Whether it is in your garden, patio, balcony or even inside your home, there are certain plants that will discourage bugs. The added benefit of this method is that many of these plants look and smell great. Lavender, citronella geraniums, peppermint, and more will all do the trick.

Burn citronella candles

The bonus of using a citronella candle to keep away bugs is that you get to enjoy soft candlelight during summer evenings.

Wear less perfume

Strong scents from perfumes, shampoos and other toiletries can actually attract bugs, so consider using unscented or perfumeless alternatives.

Drink more water

Bugs are also more attracted to you when you are sticky and sweaty. Staying hydrated will help you avoid this.

Use a fan

Whether electronic or handheld, using a fan will also help you stay less sweaty plus the air currents from the fan will make it more difficult for bugs to actually fly around you.
