Hasn't this just been an amazing Summer so far in Manitoba?

With all of the courses running, we have still found a little bit of time for fun between our BBQ's and the Regulators Club "Camp and Dive" weekend last weekend.

This Saturday will be the first of this year's Manitoba Underwater Council's BBQ's at the Cats Ass dive site. Get your gear, go for a dive, and enjoy a free lunch. Bring the family, lunch is provided for all. Register your attendance for the event here. If you are out joining us on one of our classes, we have already registered you!

We are hosting another Meet and Greet BBQ event on Monday, July 31st. We hope to see you there! Let us know if you're coming.

Hollis and Oceanic 1st Stage Regulators recall.
If you purchased a Hollis or Oceanic Diaphragm style regulator between October 2017 and June 10, 2018, your regulator may be a part of a quality alert recall.
Get details and check if your serial number is effected here for Oceanic Regulators or here for Hollis regulators.
Still not sure, or want more information, bring it in and we'll check it out.

Pool Closure
Pan Am pool will be closing at the end of July, and not re-opening until January 2019!
We will be continuing our training at Cindy Klassen pool, but space is limited.
This unfortunately means that we will have to limit the number of students we can take. If you know anybody wanting to start an Open Water class, now is the time!
This also means that we must suspend activities for the "Pool Sharks" during this time to make room for classes.
Hopefully we will see you back in the water soon!

There are going to be some changes around the Cats Ass dive site this year due to the expansion of the marina, but we are working hard with the Manitoba Underwater Council to lessen the impact and improve visibility of the dive site boundaries. This is one of the things that the Manitoba Underwater council does for the dive community. If you have not yet renewed your membership, now is the time. We need your support. Remember, your "Welcome to the community" free membership was only good for one year after your certification.

This Just In...St. Maarten

We are in the process of setting up the long-awaited trip to St. Maarten! The tentative dates are November 25th to December 2nd.
Space is limited as we are looking at renting a villa for a maximum of 9 people.
Contact us today if you want to receive more information as the details get finalized in the next week or 2.
