Provincetown Theater at 238 Bradford St. (The theater has plenty of parking.)
The annual meeting is open to all members in good standing. You can renew your membership or join at the door. Dues are only $25 per year.
Registration and coffee begin at 9:30 am with our business to start at 10:00 am. Our guest is newly elected selectperson Lise King.
Lise was elected to the only open seat on the Select Board by a wide margin. Lise has expressed interest in talking with the PPRTA about issues that affect part-time residents. Her proposition is that "We are ONE Provincetown." Please join us on the 9th to speak personally with Lise.
Your comments and responses to our recent survey range from accommodating to frustrating; from conservative to radical. Whatever your personal inclination may be, you support our Association in its mission to provide a voice and forum for part-time resident taxpayers in Provincetown. We’ll be following up with a complete analysis of the survey results.
Two of our long-time board members, David Brody and Donald Vaughan, helped form our organization and lead us for the last six years. Their terms on our Board are expiring and they will not be renewing their seats. We are grateful for their leadership and thank them for their tireless service on our behalf.
Will you step up to carry on for them? The test of the strength of your position is your willingness to work for its achievement. Our Association is only as strong as its members, so you are challenged to lead us. Please let us know of your interest to serve on our board of directors. Annual Summer Party July 22, 2018. Location and time TBD.
The party is not just a great way to socialize with fellow part-time residents, but it is also an excellent opportunity to talk with like-minded individuals about the future of Provincetown and the role of part-time residents in an informal setting.

About the PPRTA:
The Provincetown Part-Time Resident Taxpayers Association works for the betterment of the whole community of the Town of Provincetown by providing a forum and a voice for the interests of Provincetown part-time resident taxpayers, most of whom must make their voting residence elsewhere.
Goals
Maintain and support the unique quality of life that exists in Provincetown.
Advocate for representation on budget-related issues for part-time residents of Provincetown.
Provide a forum for part-time resident taxpayers to communicate with local, regional and state governments.
Encouraging the participation of part-time residents in all aspects of the community.
