University of Washington Tacoma
1922 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402
We can't wait to see you at the 253 Film Summit!

This event is an opportunity for filmmakers, professionals, and students to get to know one another, pitch ideas and projects, and plug in to the growing industry of media professionals and creatives in the South Sound.

Heads up!
If you are registered to our waitlist, please plan to attend the summit. We should have room for everyone. If you have a friend who didn't get a chance to register, let them know to add their information to the waitlist and they can anticipate attending as well. One more confirmation email will be sent out on Friday.

Registration
Find the entrance to the Summit and registration at 1922 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402. If the restaurant Indochine is to your left and you see our friendly yeti signs, you've found us! Come in, grab your badge, then head into the Studio at Cherry Parkes for a snack and drink.

What to Expect
The 253 Film Summit is limited to 70 attendees and we'll be attending the seminars and networking together.

The full schedule is below; we'll kick off with a quick word of welcome from Katy Evans from The Grand Cinema and Long Tran, president of the UWT Film Club, Throughout the day we'll be moving back and forth between three rooms in the UWT campus.

What to Bring
We will have refreshments available throughout the day but we recommend you bring a lunch or grab a bite at one of the many nearby restaurants. We do not have an official lunch break but recommend grabbing food between 12 - 12:15 PM or 1:30 - 3 PM during our networking session.

Also, come stocked up with business cards or any other collateral sharing your work and contact information. During our speed networking, this is a great time to exchange information with others.

What's Next?
That's up to you! Hopefully you've met some incredible people and can start creating something incredible. After the summit, you'll receive a survey to get your feedback, and our next Film In Tacoma meetup will be scheduled toward the end of summer, in preparation for the Tacoma Film Festival.
