Survey of training offer and skill demand in the space/geospatial sector
The Earth Observation (EO) and Geographic Information (GI) sector is rapidly evolving due to technological advances, growing availability of open data (e.g. Copernicus) and enlargement of the user base. This evolution requires to adapt EO/GI training in order to match the skills demand from the market. EO4GEO project invites all organisations operating in the EO/GI sector to participate to the two following surveys on supply and demand of education and training in EO/GI.
The surveys will be open until May 16th.
SURVEY ON SUPPLY
It aims at analysing existing and planned training and educational offer in Europe in the space/geospatial sector and at identifying public and private organisations which can contribute to improve the skills for the user uptake of Copernicus data and services.
SURVEY ON DEMAND
It aims at better understanding the current demand of professional workforce and related required skills in the EO/GI sector and at identifying solutions to fill-in present and future skill gaps.
Let’s continue to stay in touch, because our resources are being updated and the network is still growing, even after almost 4 years after the project contractual end!
