Two Optional Pre-Conference Workshops
 

Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Hyatt Regency Toronto, 370 King Street West

Two optional pre-conference workshops are available at an extra fee. Registration is open to all. Full conference registration is not required to register for pre-conference workshops.

Pre-conference workshop fees:

  • $150 if registering for the CAPO Conference at the same time
  • $250 if only registering for a pre-conference workshop

CAPO Student Member Conference Options

 

CAPO Student members that register for the 2018 CAPO Conference are eligible to participate in the following special features AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. When registering for the Conference, student members will be asked to indicate their interest in each function below.

1) FREE – Pre-Conference Workshop: Tips and Tools for Research and Practice Success in Psychosocial Oncology

When: Wednesday May 30th, 2018 @ 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
Where: Host Hotel, Regency C, Mezzanine Level

Based on feedback from students after last year’s CAPO conference, we are exploring opportunities to offer CAPO student members a free half-day workshop. This workshop would feature a multidisciplinary panel of CAPO experts and would aim to provide:

  • An overview of evidence-based research developments in multiple areas of psychosocial oncology research and practice;
  • Practical advice for building successful training experiences;
  • Tips/tools for creating impactful career trajectories, and;
  • Networking opportunities (e.g., the chance to connect with other CAPO student members prior to the conference).

2) Student Social

When: Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Where: Host Hotel restaurant

This event is open to all CAPO student members. The purpose is to provide you with the chance to meet other students.

Notice of CAPO's Annual General Meeting


Thursday, May 31, 2018, 1 p.m., Hyatt on King, Toronto, Ontario
 
The 2018 Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1 p.m. EDT. The meeting coincides with the 2018 Annual CAPO Conference – Targeted and Tailored Interventions.

The CAPO AGM is open to current CAPO members only.
 
We recognize that not all members will be able to attend the Annual Meeting. For those who will be unable to attend in person, your participation is still important, and we invite you to submit a proxy so that another CAPO member can serve as your representative. To access a proxy click here.
