New research reveals growing crisis in alcohol treatment sector
On 1 May 2018 politicians, service providers, researchers and charities met in the Houses of Parliament to set out what they see as the key challenges facing the alcohol treatment sector, and how Government might help address them.
At the centre of the meeting, held by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Alcohol Harm, was a new report from Alcohol Concern / Alcohol Research UK, which details the crisis facing alcohol services and sets out 14 recommendations for action - including the need for a national alcohol strategy.
