A Message From PTSA President El Baker 

Greetings from your current PTSA President, Edwin El Baker. Congrats to our Super Seniors and their families! This is an exciting time in your lives, we wish you great success in the future. 
 
What an amazing fun, challenging and productive year of service to our students, teachers and faculty. We started the school year off with a bang with our annual Welcome Back to School Breakfast for our teachers.
 
Our major fundraising vehicles were a success! Barnes and Noble, spirit wear and PTSA Memberships.  We were able to accomplish quite a few things this year, from continuing to assist educationally with grants for teachers and students and celebrating teacher birthdays and Holidays.
 
I'm excited that we are continuing on good footing towards the future by carrying over a surplus into the next school year. Thank you for allowing us to serve this year and I'm excited for the new board and the leadership that Mo Ivory will bring as President.
 
Many thanks again to all of the parents, students and Jackson High School cluster volunteers for making this year a success, we could not have done any of this without you! Have a great summer.

The Year in Review 

Wow, it is the last month of school and the 2017-2018 school year is almost over! The PTSA has had another great year building our community and supporting our students and staff. Here are some of things we were able to accomplish this past year with your support: 
 
Barnes & Noble Book Fair: doubled funds raised from previous year.

Art Postcard Fundraiser: Raised funds for our Visual Arts Department
 
Sunshine Closet: Funded $1000 to purchase school supplies and uniforms to support students in need and secured over $2000 in donations to support our students over school breaks
 
Purchased $1000 Teacher Wishlists of books and classroom supplies
 
Received an IMPACT grant for a sunscreen dispenser and sunscreen- It will be installed by our athletic field for our students and Jackson community
 
PTSA Faculty Mini Grants- Total Disbursement: $2560
