The Martin Guitar Company has a truly unique history. Recently I came across a couple of videos that I found fascinating! One is a tour of the Martin Factory and talks about how CF Martin got his start as a luthier, his coming to America, starting a factory and became the premier guitar company in America. Those that have been able to take the factory tour in Nazareth, Pennsylvania in person know what an experience it can be. Those that haven't been able to take the factory tour will certainly enjoy this video tour presented by Chris Martin.
The second video talks about and shows some of the amazing instruments on display in the Martin museum.
For those wanting to delve a little deeper into the history of the American Guitar there is a book available on the subject entitled Inventing the American Guitar.
