Hi Everyone!
We just wanted to let you know that we still exist and are working our butts off towards opening. We blew past our expected opening date on account of a permit that was taking forever to wind its way through the bureaucracy that is SF Planning/Building Inspection/Health. I actually don't mind most of the checks and regulations, I just think those offices need more staff. The good news is that we just got the permit issued that we were waiting on. It was an over-the-counter-permit that should have taken a few weeks and instead it took a few months.
We promise to process your dinner checks a fair amount faster
The upside is that we're not stressed trying to finish custom furniture, the menu, or a million other little details. Every Monday our chef comes over to our house for test-kitchen which has been amazing. We can't wait to get these dishes in front of you.
So hopefully we can be open sometime in August? That would be great, right? Our apologies to everyone for the delay and we're forever thankful to everyone who's continued to express hope and excitement about the project.
