Ever heard of Chuck Jones?

Chances are you haven't... But I bet you know his work.

Between 1938 and 1962 he directed more than 200 cartoons for Warner Brothers.

I promise this will be one of the best 8 minutes and 53 seconds you spend watching something this weekend.

Yup, even better than Westworld.

Alright, maybe not better than Westworld, though still awesome.

Chuck Jones is one of the all-time greats, not only in his field, but in the evolution of an art.

None of Chuck's success came overnight. It was a long, methodical process.

That's precisely where this story becomes relevant to us. It's easy to chase immediate success or immediate pleasure. But very rarely do the things that are worth pursuing happen in a few hours, days, weeks, or even years.

What are your disciplines? What are the challenges and restrictions that you set for yourself that allow you to evolve with a purpose?

If you only watch one part of the video, start here

Improve, learn, and stay curious until you share the same passion, expertise, and joy as Chuck does for visual art.

And then when you get to that point, keep going.

"Gee, there you are, you know?"

Until next Friday, Thinkers.
