Cortical Field Re-Education (CFR), Lead by Dr. Monica Leslie PT, DPT, is a system of healing through learning that increases attention and heightens perception. CRM (Comprehensive Resource Model) is a treatment model that provides internal attachment resourcing for rapid and successful trauma processing. We are excited to bring this promising new treatment to those dealing with PTSD as well as complex trauma and dissociation. We are also sponsoring a study group for area therapists who would like develop their expertise with this powerful healing modality.

Therapy Group (RO-DBT)

Do you struggle with perfectionism, black-and-white thinking, and feelings of disappointment when you or others do not meet your expectations? Do you struggle in your relationships, and often find it difficult to connect with others?

Have your superb abilities of self-control begun to feel like they hold you prisoner?
RO-DBT is a new, evidence-based treatment that targets over-controlled behavior, and is well suited for maladaptive perfectionists, workaholics, and those experiencing chronic depression, treatment-resistant anxiety disorders, anorexia nervosa, and autistic spectrum disorders.  Through this 30-week group, you will learn valuable skills that can deepen your relationships, increase effective communication, and comfort in novel, spontaneous situations.

Facilitator: Aletheia Regier, M.A., AMFT, Member of Dialectical Behavior Therapy  National Certification and Accreditation Association. Aletheia Regier is one of the few trained clinicians in RO-DBT in the state of California and is pleased to bring it here to The New Beginnings Center!
