Springtime is here in full swing.

The butterflies are sweeping by, the Cub bears are nibbling the green grass, the ocean is calling its siren sound.

We here at Yoga by the Sea will be spending more time in nature these next few months, experiencing the limitlessness of our true nature by slowing down, paying attention to the quality of the movement not the posture or shape of it. Resting in knowing presence, felt through the life force of nature.

Sheetali Breath Meditation
This variation of Sheetali breath is a immediate way to shift our mental, emotional, and contemplative state with one breath. Following the breath to the very end of the exhalation places attention on the moment and removes it from the duality of the mind. Follow this breathing practice anytime you want to shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being. Listen to it here.
Teacher Spotlight: Anna Green
Trained as an Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher, I creatively embrace all traditions of yoga in my vinyasa flow instruction. My classes include guided posture flow, free form movement and dance, breath awareness, balance sequences, self-awakening therapeutic conditioning, fluid restorative, pranassage and deep relaxation. I believe in fostering awareness and respect for each student’s unique body, allowing all to fully receive the benefits of yoga.
My comprehensive practice facilitates an overall sense of well-being, which deepens the connection between mind, body and inner spirit. Anna is back teaching Wake-Up Yoga Sunday mornings at 10:00am starting June 18th.
